We are John and Janel, the new owners of "Dr. Jack's Green House". It was originally built by the Green family from Pennsylvania and is reported to be one of the first houses on its private road in Palmetto Shores, Eleuthera, Bahamas. We have named the "Green House" after John's dad, a doctor, who always wanted to own a vacation house on an island.
 
The "Green House" is located on open water on the seaside of Eleuthera, south of Governor's Harbor. It has 120 feet of primitive beach and a private homeowners' beach (good for small children). It is a private and secluded location. It only has one adjacent house to the northwest and vacant land to the southeast.
 
On your own private beach, the shelling is excellent and you can fish from the edge of the beach. It's a short drive to small shops and a convenience store. The largest settlement (small town/village) is Governors Harbor which is a twenty minute drive. Governors Harbor has a doctor's office, grocery and liquor stores, and an ATM machine. The airport is about thirty minutes away.
